dude, they share literally 90% of the same games. Compare that to the PS2/Xbox or the PS1/N64, Genesis/SNES, or the Wii with either the PS3 or 360. There are no two consoles in history that are more alike. They were called the HD twins for a reason.
when a discussion like this arises, it's all about what games does the console have? the PS3 and 360 have a loooooot of the same games. If you were to rank one over the other, it couldnt be by much. and if you made a list of the top 30 consoles, they would have to occupy spots adjacent to eachother. what is it about them that differentiates them sooo much that they would be more than five spots away from eachother on a list?

You were already explained on this, not in this, thread and not by me, but I'll do it again just for,the sake of trying.
If Ninty has 50 games, while Sony and MS has 500 each, and they share 450 between them, they are as much as unique as Ninty.
The fact it lacks the plus the other two have don't make it unique and both equal, make all unique and it lacking this plus.
If we all have our exclusive games, and we have, and Sony does actually have more than Nintendo even with the plus Nintendo doesn't have, because it has exclusive third party support, them we all hold the same status, while Ninty lacks the others Sony and MS have plus that.
The thing is, the PS3 and 360, and the PS4 and the XBO as at least as much as unique as the Wii and the Wii U.
Were the PS4 and XBO share close specs and can be approximated in a HW level and the PS3 and 360 are radically distinct from each other, and don't think they are not because they share games, the SNES and the Mega Drive also did, Ththe PS2 and the XB as well, and they were not even close to each other.
Just stop saying you don't need to choose betwen them,or don't choose at all because they are the same, because it's simply not true, they are as unique as all other consoles always were.

well ill explain to you why that line of reasoning doesnt really work..
if wii has 50 games and ps3 has 500 games, then there is a huge difference with what games you get with each console. on ps3 you get 500 unique games, and on wii you get 50 unique games.
if you compare ps3 and 360 which each have 500 games, and share 450 of them, you only get 50 unique games on each. thet ps3 and 360 are much more similar to eachother than either one of them is to the wii.
what youre trying to do is lump all three together and say, "see, you get 50 unique games for each, therefore they are all equally different from eachother." well, that line of reasoning breaks down when you compare each one to the other. when you do that, you will see that the ps3 and 360 are very similar. its not like the fifth generation with the saturn/ps1/n64. those consoles were all unique from eachother. like i said before, there is a reason people referred to them as the HD twins.
i'm sorry, but you don't have me convinced.
