I think a game like The Last of Us with both character's sex altered would be fascinating.

The option to choose for any given Player Character would be a welcome addition. If the game has a love interest involved in any capacity, the option to choose sexual orientation could change the love interest's gender for compatibility purposes.

If I had to pick just one though, female Solid Snake voiced by Claudia Black or Bayonettor voiced by David Hayter.

Let us say noone jumps out right now. It feels like a cheap way to garner interest in a struggling franchise whilst undermining the history and I'd like no part in that.

So, you are thinking "But Shepard has not gender until you pick it." Right? Bullcrap, the one marketed was MaleShep yet the performance of Jennifer Hale as FemShep was so much better it deserved to be THE Shepard. I don't think FemShep even had a defined face until #3.
