What about dark souls? I thought that was considered a better game than demon souls?

That depends, both score the same, but that's not the point, Dark Souls is more of the same of what Demon's Souls was, was only with Sony that FS created the two distinc ideas revolving the Souls series and now the Blood.

I have nothing against it being multiplat as Dark Souls, but I think FS works better together with Sony to create new stuff.

i know my opinion has almost NO VALUE on this, since im a "sony fan" and therefore my opinion will be seen as a biased opinion, but the first time i got interested in the soul series was in 2012 when Dark Souls came out, i also knew about Demons Souls years before that but i wasnt interested on it at the time, but then (thanks to Dark Souls hype train) i ended up buying both games in 2012 and i HONESTLY (i swear to god) expected Dark Souls to be a MUCH better game than Demons Souls, to the point that i Played Demons Souls first because i thought that if i played Dark Souls first i wouldnt be able to enjoy Demons Souls later because of all the "improvements" that Dark Souls Supposedly had, and men i was wrong... so wrong...

to Dark Souls credit, it fixed the healing system (which wasnt really broken) but it was improved in DkS, and it added the open world structure which is now a staple of the series.

but outside from that it took away a lot of interesting concepts that Demons Souls had, (a dedicated hub world, the character and world tendency and the results and impact this ones had on the world), not to mention it did a thing that i never liked which was reusing bosses multiple times (that assylum demon... 3 times you can fight it in one playthrough... and those gargoyles appear more than once as well...) and it made Bosses become regular enemies which in my opinion sucks because it takes away the uniquenes of the boss, and it stops being a memorable ("formidable enemy") and becomes this regular enemy that you can easily kill later in the game... making their appearance as bosses in NG+ seem MUCH MUCH less impressive and important.

I would like to see a "souls" style samurai game......

Nah, I'd rather see it set in a fictional Istanbul like city.

I agree, not to say adding bonfires outside of bosses battles, having to overcome the boss after suffering to reach it to be able to make any progress at all was a great thing only Demon s Souls had, it's not like Dark Souls had a lot of them, but just by having it was a down to me.

Dark Souls had more equips though. They both, had their points.

I preffer Demon's Souls as well, but the point is that FS only created a new concept when Sony was co-developing and actually owning the game, that's why I want new games by them to be made together with Sony again, they can go multiplat with a similar game as Dark Souls, the more people that can experience it the better to them, but to start it Sony being involved seems to be a really good thing.

Demon's souls is a better game in my opinion as well. To be fair though I have never played ds2.  I'm fine with it being ps exclusive. Demon's + BB= better than DS imo.

Ehh...I'd rather see From do something new.

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

Not Armored Core BTW.

Yeah. I'd love to see them do something bright and colorful with Miyazaki's knack for world building.

Good ideas, but I would really like a Kawaii Souls. This needs to happen, and I'm not kidding.

Miyazaki himself said he was getting tired of developing dark/deep/consuming games, so a Kawaii Souls is much needed.

Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won

So you would slay ponies, tead bears and flower people? That's even worse

Yes! But without blood/gore. Kinda like how Ratchet & Clank works (they "shoot" and smash other cute beings, but there is no real violence). <3

It's a shame not to see a new Armored Core. I was a big fan of those games.

But! I do really hope they try something new next and I'm excited to see what it would be.
