Threads like this really show people's real colors :D

Sure... this guy isnt biased at all... riiiiiiiiiight.

When you write stuff like this:
"For the record, Microsoft didn't pay me to say any of this."

You know how badly biased you come off sounding.

Renown analyst my arse.

Thread is a HD remaster ;) of Rol's thread in 2011

EDIT: And apparently plenty others dating back to 2009

So Bloodborne sucks lol

Time out. Sony sucks because their line up is "third party multiplatforms embellished by a few noteworthy first party titles".....then says there's no better time to jump in because Microsoft's line up is "the usual third party games" joined by Halo and Forza aka "a few noteworthy first party titles"

Ok.

Are there any realistic predictions for Spaltoon on Wii U?

Brilliant thread. Some of the comments are fun too.

Putting aside the absolutely laughable prediction for Splatoon (I mean, even Mario Kart 8 still didn't reach 6 millions, and even if I'm sure that Splatoon will sell good, it will never reach that. 1,5 or 2 millions LTD seems more accurate) and the part about Microsoft, I agree with the Sony first party thing. That's the main reason why I still don't have a PS4, there's no point for me to get one since almost all the good games are available on other platforms, and I won't buy a console just for two or three exclusives.

"I've seen enough hentai to know where this is going."

Damn it. I laughed.

Hmm

This is legitimately the most amusing thing I've read in a while.  Good job, Sir.

Just gonna leave the nice contradiction here:

Sony has gotten reliant on sequels to a few key franchises over the last few years. What people have criticized Microsoft for, Sony has become. Third party multiplatform games are embellished by a couple of noteworthy first party titles every year.

Looking forward, gamers can expect great things from Microsoft. This year the usual third party games will be joined by Halo 5 and Forza 6, plus potentially some Gears of War in one form or another. As a gamer, there is no better time to jump in. This is the best lineup in the history of Xbox. While Sony has given gamers empty promises, actual greatness awaits on the Xbox One."

tl;dr - Sony rely on third party games and sequels to existing franchises which is doing gamers a disservice; Microsoft are releasing third party games and sequels to existing franchises on Xbox and it's the best lineup in the history of the brand.

The best trolls at least bring some kind of coherent argument, which is sadly lacking here.  Still, it's pretty funny.
