this is great.. this will teach SE to re-re-release games so fast again.. or did they really think that those PS4 users were old 360 users and didn't had a chance to buy Final Fantasy X | X-2 HD Remaster on the PS3

Don't worry. This week is probably the lowest week will see (this year)

next week will be depresing too (but at least there's The Witcher 3).

After that, numbers will be better (still poor though). 

May is always the slowest month of the year in Japan. In summer it rises a little.

Just atrocious. At least there's The Witcher followed by Splatoon coming up. Wonder what numbers the Wii U and the PS4 will push come summer.

So it looks like the 3DS is finally on its last legs, and about time. I was getting tired of having to add up 4 SKUS to get the "3DS family" total. As far as the New 3DS goes, those numbers are actually not bad, all things considered. Those Codename Steam numbers, though, are just painful.

Sony won the hardware game this week, for whatever that's worth. 4-digit PS4 numbers don't seem far off, and PS3 could end up seeing 3-digit numbers later this year.

Microsoft continues to barely exist in Japan. Hard to believe that even after the drop, PS4 is still selling 77x better than XB1.

As for Sony HW winning, Sony wins just seems like a way to have an excuse for 3ds being #1... :-/

 

Edit: Everything beyond bad, PS4 should slightly go up with Witcher 3 doing 40k-55k FW. Only Splatoon with good numbers for the month incoming. Minecraft legs are the new AC, though AC still charts lol
