Id disagree. Id say its arguably on of the best looking games this generation

That is absurd. The textures are dire and flat - the vegetation is the worst I have seen in years. The are almost no DX11 features. The lighting is very poor etc. People are jumping on the bandwagon of saying it is great without actually looking at it.

It looks ages better than AD I, it isnt even fair to compare the graphics of the 2. And I am looking at it, its right here in front of me.

Nice read.

Sounds like a lot of framerate issues on PS4. Interesting that consoles are already struggling less than 2 years into the generation.

Since I dont understand jack out of these nonsense... andI own both a PS4 and Xbox one. Which version should I buy?

Also as for the best looking game this generation I put my money on the Order

There is a big mistake in this OP.

The AF is not better on Xbone in any way.... both have poor AF implementations and the Xbone vesion after the patch dropped to 4xAF (it was 8x before) while PS4 holds 8xAF from the comparison pics.

A little summary.

PS4

- Better resolution
- Less jugger/frame pacing
- Better AF

Xbone

- Better framerate (that doens't mean smooth)

PS. The DS4's touchpad use is awesome... quick press = menu, long press = invenctory, swipe down/up = map.

This reeks of parity considering the Xone has better anisotropic filtering, but a bit lower resolution.

It is the opposite.

So the consoles are about at the middle of the PC version. LOL. Isn't there a big thread on here about how PC Ultra vs PS4 is "pretty much the same"? Youtube FTL.

Absolutely not. Anisotropic filtering isn't nowhere as demanding and won't give the same visual gain than going from 900p to 1080p. It's 44% more pixels.

Yep CDR is full of shit lol.  It's a bit of a mess on PC too.  Considering their reputation with graphics I expected far more from them.

Prediction for console Lifetime sales:

Wii:100-120 million, PS3:80-110 million, 360:70-100 million

[Prediction Made 11/5/2009]

3DS: 65m, PSV: 22m, Wii U: 18-22m, PS4: 80-120m, X1: 35-55m

I gauruntee the PS5 comes out after only 5-6 years after the launch of the PS4.

Not just that PS4 have better AF too... both poor of course compared with 16x AF on PC.
