Those power cords and their dishonorable discharges.

How was Type 0?

I thought it was pretty good. The gameplay's great since it has a good amount of customization, and every character has there own fighting style. It's also traditional in a sense: towns, world map, dungeons, a good amount of side-quests and a bunch of optional stuff. Loads of replay value.

The story is lacking, as well as the characters. There's like 14 main characters, so they don't get much character development aside from maybe three of them. 8/10 from me.

Least you were still under warrenty.

That's what scares me. Every Sony console I've ever owned (not portable) has broken. Even the "samurai tough" PS3. Hope my console holds up.

You have a really bad luck with Sony's consoles.  My 8 year old PS2 and 5 year old PS3 are working perfectly fine.  I hope I'll have the same luck with the PS4.

I also had my fair share of problems with Sony consoles. My PS2 died (after 5 years though), and my PS3 60GB died in less than a year. However, my PS3 slim has been going 6 years strong, and I pretty much use it every day.

I got the PS4 as an X-mas gift, so I'm not that upset. Fortunately, my parents kept the receipt.

Yeah, my first PS1 (purchased in early 1997) died in 1999, I think.  My second PS1 never died but the spindle thingy that held the disc in place fell off.  I glued it back on, though.

My PS2 died of disc read error and my second died after I took it apart (a regular occurrence) to fiddle with the insides.  I forgot I hadn't screwed it back together and yanked all of the wires out of the motherboard.  My third never broke, though.  I just gave it to a friend when I got a ackwards compatible 80gb PS3 in 2008.

I decided to hold off purchasing at launch until I knew it was sturdy hardware.  Would see a report every now and then about someone's console dying.  I just figured they didn't know how to take care of them.  Then, we started getting threads all of the time!  Mine lasted until 2013 so it was a trooper.  Hope my PS4 fares better.

RIP in peace.

Go see mad max, you'll feel better after, RIP in peace PS4

Bet reminder: I bet with Tboned51 that Splatoon won't reach the 1 million shipped mark by the end of 2015. I win if he loses and I lose if I lost.

What does it do when try to turn it on? And did you buy it day one?
