Oh another thing. We should turn this into the official discussion and help thread for the witcher 3. Come here to give/find advice off other players.

I'm fine to do this if there is the demand. Nothing I'd like more than to help people out after all!

Would require a little restructuring of the OP but it would be worth it.

Finally hit level 7 after 20 hours of play. I feel that I've finally got a good hang of combat and I'm really enjoying every boss and high level monster encounter. Also, the easiest (and fastest) way to get rid of thugs, cannibals, deserters and nekkers is via horseback (bombs help).

I predict that the Wii U will sell a total of 18 million units in its lifetime.

The NX will be a 900p machine

It's probably been seen before, but Clueless Gamer did a review of the game. Well worth watching if you haven't seen it already!

That was brilliant hahaha.

And yes, everyone in this world loves. To. Talk.

So much talking. @_@

As for the game, it's very fun so far. Controls are definitely interesting, because it feels that instead of controlling Geralt, you're almost pulling him along with the control stick. It can lead to some awkward movement, but I'm getting used to it.

The graphics are very pretty by the way, almost a pastel like quality from a distance. The weather effects are also really cool.

Anyways, looking forward to playing the game some more. ^_^

Everyone talking sounds just like your traditional WRPG right now. And I've heard the thing about the controls from someone else, can't remember who...but it seems like a common thing. As for the graphics it's looked amazing in videos so yeah, glad you're enjoying it! Long long way to go yet ofcourse.

What about the questing/levelling up system? They seem to be a little devisive.

If you are  a fan of the witcher series and hav eplayed the past iterations of the game, then the controls you get in the wittcher 3 is to be expected. However in syaing that, its much more fluid, responsive and faster combat with more depth then compared to the witcher 2. You are meant to be agile. you have to take it slow and plan , how you are going to fight and it will require lots of dodge roll.  in terms of levelling , its alot better then witcher 2 as witcher 2, you only levelled up with quests. this time its both. But in the witcher 3, the amount you can upgrade is huge and diverse.

I know I've said it before but if your liking this game and haven't read the books then you really should. It gives you so much history and insight on how these characters came to meet each other and ventures they've already been on together. I absolutely love reading how Geralt destined himself to be with Ciri even before she was even born. And just reading Ciris story! She's easily my favourite character and it's becoming clear just how important she is to the whole witcher world!

Better than The Witcher 2 and much better than the first game. I like the direction they went with the game to be hoenst.

Oh? How so? I know there's a few differences to Witcher 2 but I really enjoyed that so was wondering what the biggest positive changes in your eyes are.
