See with all you've written with the combination of the bottom line doesn't make any sense, I mean you;re tired of the PC vs console debate while stating both are good and have advantages over each other and yet you've made PC sound completely worthless and a pointless investment for everyone, I mean why are we gaming on PC's if consoles are super superior and far more convenient?.

Now I know after you;ve read this you'll probably retreat to making PC sound more worthwhile but then that means I;ve made you change from one stance to another, I;m actually more interested to see you stay within the same stance (same line of thought) and try to make it sound the same when you do change to say PC has some advantages making it sound worthwhile, if not then I'd suggest reiterating everytime someone mentions PC vs consoles to just say "consoles hands down".

You're tired of Consoles vs PC, I'm tired of that nice muddy and grey murky line people like to thrown both into.

It's not cheaper as I'll have to buy a new pc since all my other pc needs have long shifted to a laptop.
I can play rts just fine on my laptop and all the other pc genres I'm interested in. Even Elite Dangerous ran good enough on it.
I'm not interested in modding, I can't even keep up with vanilla games.
I can connect the ps4 to my projector and living room tv without any hassle, just a power cord and hdmi cable ready at both locations. My wifi coverage however sucks, streaming HD video over it is not a viable option. Moving the pc around is a hassle, as is using a keyboard and mouse on my knee. Even connecting the laptop is akward, plus the damn battery hardly lasts an hour when gaming and it's not even using the screen.

So really it would just be an extra $800 purchase for OR. I'll give Morpheus a try first, I already have the move controllers from last gen and the ps4 eye, all set.

I used to be 90% pc gamer, 10% consoles when I had more time than games to play. Nowadays it's the opposite. Convenience first, maximize game time, minimize hassle.

Well, it's still about a year before it comes out and prices on that powerful a PC will drop and new CPUs and GPUs will be out. I expect a fairly big hardware refresh on PC's in the next few years.

I'm glad they put the visuals that high and the 90fps. Sure I would want more, but at least it's more than 60.

Plus this will be more than just gaming. FaceBook brought it for a reason, and I think we still have yet to see what they are going to do with it. I would think some virtual worlds where you can visit your friends.

Even if the costs were lower, I'm not sure virtual reality will move beyond a niche market. Perhaps, it will grow if game development on conventional screens have reached their limits in terms of innovation and people started getting bored of traditional games, but we may be a ways from that. On the other hand, I'm somewhat excited about augmented reality and virtual reality because I think this will signicantly change if not revolutionize certain genres of games, perhaps even create new ones.

the games are alot cheaper, day1 and later, if you buy in the right places, you can get witcher 3 for 30$...

and you dont pay for online. that makes PC gaming cheaper if you buy a mediu amount of games every year.

late ports arent the norm, and GTAV is cut down so much that it doesnt realy matter if it came out or not.

mods are free DLC, and often they are better than payed DLC, and its not just for when you are bored, the 2 biggest E-sport games are standalones from mods. there is so much creativity in the community that they come up with new genres like tower defense or MOBAs just by modding an old RTS game.

having a console is fun too,  local multiplayer is the best multiplayer by far, and well there is nintendo with their craftmensship from another star.

1) This is a blatan lie by the master race, is never cheaper, at least not yet, but the ps4 is rumored to have a pricecut this year, so pc might not be cheaper this yeear either. consoles pluss 1.

If you are to hurt because I probably dint list every single point thats positivy to each side or you just want to see the negative in peoples comments if is not 100% to your side then thats your problem.

I'm honestly not hurt just because I find indifference to your opinoion btw, I just find when someone flaunts an argument like that it makes me wonder what stance/side they are on and you've more or less told me now so the surprise is gone, I honestly don't se it as my problem, if anthing you are the one making it into a problem by citing PC as garbage that's not worth investing into, you said you prefer consoles so really you don't factor into this since you've chosen your side already, wheras I go PC first and consoles later so I'm going with both in essence than simpy, staying to one side and throwing minus points at the other. (Not meaning that as a berating stance, just that you've already chosen and your decision simply doesn't factor into the "inbetween" kind of person that can make such judgement without injecting much bias)

It's not a problem if you thought  you sounded mad or anything, the way I type and talk in voice is completely different that some people on here believe I;m mad or upset when really I'm completely fine and they tend to read my text into pure emotion rather than simply just reading the words and not trying to force fake emotions into them (I tend to say fuck a few times vocally around friends but online people think that's me showing anger when it's really not how I mean that to come off as).

Your right on the payed online thing, I can never forgive MS for starting that practice. But at Least sony fixed it by giving away free games every month. Not new games, mainly indis, but its still something.

I said "PC is garbage and not worth investing into"? Really? I would have remembered something like that. I think I said before, not on this thread, that investing thousands of dollars on a pc on a slight improbement is a waste of money, But not pc in its entirety.

So we are just suposed to hear arguments from people who stand on our sides? That makes no sense. I get your point that peoples bias can make them say things that they really dont belive in, but that is usually easily noticeable in their argument. I was a pc gamer, I dont do it anymore because it was not as cheaper as everybody keeps saying it is, and I needed a laptop for college and could not have a pc and a laptop so i left pc gaming years ago. DOes that make my stance a little better for you, at least a little less bias? Although I finish college and make good money now and still not planing to go back to pc, so I gess your right, nothing I say regarding pc should be taken into acount.

Im a nitendo fan and I can be critical when they are making a mistake, like i did on my previous comment. A true fan can notice when something is wrong with what they like and must accept critizisim if at lest it has a good base. Dosent matter if the oposition is a flaming fanboy that will never see reason, they sometimes make good arguments that have to be taken into account, not always by the way.
