Forums - Microsoft Discussion - Will Xbox One have a Exclusive rich E3?

I find it interesting that so many people keep acting as if the whole current direction can be solely attributed to Spencer and that he'd have done the same if he'd been put in charge earlier, the direction can be attributed mainly to the collossal backlash and misfire of the original direction. Just like most of Spencers persona can be attributed to PR telling him to become Mr. Nice Guy Gaminglover to make Xbox more likable after most of the gaming community wanted Xbox to fail and burn. everything these big CEOs say is backed by PR, but who can blame them, it seems to be working.

Anyway, yes MS should have quite a decent number of exclusives at their show, announced and unannounced.

This'll be good

1. I agree with dernebel. Never put any people in the godly status. Spencer is doing fine. But he might have some unpleasant news for some. No one is perfect.
2. Its not a stab. But I expect MS to announce some console exclusives to be released for Windows 10 (Sunset overdrive or forza exclusive to Windows 10 etc). OS is their important money maker. So they will put some lime light to the PC division to strengthen Windows 10.

Is he some sort of insider?

I don't think there will be anything new announced but rather more that we already know about.
Scalebound
Halo
Quantum Break
Forza
Crackdown.

The big reveal will be Gears but probably won't be released until 2017. Quantum Break will get a released date, Feb/March '16. Crackdown and Scalebound Holiday '16. Forza Horion 3 will get no mention 'til next year as to not clash with Forza 6

Yeah, with Scalebound and a new Rare non Kinect game, I'm actually most excited about MS press conference.

With Sony spreading out announcements (and still disappointing), delaying games, PS4 exclusive support being absolutely terrible, I'm not that hyped for it anymore. The chances of a surprise exclusive announcement for holiday 2015 is slim, they usually do that a year or more in advance.

It had better be.

Right now Phil seems to be all talk and no action, hopefully he can back up what he's said this time.

What do you mean, the man has been all action. He made last E3 great and how fast do you think he can turn things around, In a few months. This E3 will decide if it was all talk or not. However all the improvements to live etc, have been all him. So I'm not sure where you are getting all talk, as he has been hard at work pushing new projects and securing exclusive titles.

People who wanted to belive that sure did. But to me They had the weakest E3 last year. All they showed was multiplats we saw a 100 times over and a couple of exclusives that where years away. The only gameplay shown of exclusives where fable, wich is not an exclusive and quantum brake, wich then got pushed back  lot. To then after E3 not anounce anything again while sony still delivered a bit in gamescon and TGS.

Like DrNerbel Said, everyone keeps thinking hes doing such an amazing job, but hes just responding to backlash and for me at least he has not done anything important yet, worst is he has let some exclusives like fable and others  to go to pc. Hes slowly taking focus away from the x1 cuz he knows the fate of it.

If they focus on First party this year that would be great. Im sick and tryred of MS focusing on games that will be out in every other platform while showing very few games originally for theirs and the sheep comsumers just eat it up in the US.

It takes genuine talent to see greatness in yourself despite your absence of genuine talent.

I think they will have lots of first party stuff, but few surprises. A lot of what they are up to has been hinted at or leaked
