The moment lost odyssey is missing, yeah I beat you.

I'm eventually going to get and play Lost Odyssey, but as I've said in another thread how bad the genre has become, i the same people who praise Star Ocean The Last Hope are praising Lost Odyssey, then maybe it's not as great as people say after all.

Just as he doesn't own Lost Odyssey you probably haven't play a couple hundred RPGs he owns, so you really have less to talk.  One versus a couple hundred.

I hate star ocean 4, really weak game.

i have loads to talk about, choose the system, I own most.

I can surprisingly for once, since I am not restricted to just playstation. I have DS (Rivals my PS2 collection)/3DS/Wii/Xbox360/PC(Actually being built up to include RPGs)

O_O

Teach me your ways, Sensai!

PS3:

Ar Tonelico Qoga
Ar nosurge

Atelier Rorona
Atelier Totori
Atelier Meruru
Atelier Ayesha
Atelier Escha and Logy
Atelier Shallie

But PS2  NO:

Atelier Iris 1-3

Ar tonelico 1-2

why? anyways if you completed those :) respect, those games have so much grind :D (their fun though)

True JRPG fan right there.

Lmao! I've beaten quite a few of them. Not all, but I'd say roughly 70%. As for actually collecting them, well, a lot of it is luck, being in the right place at the right time, finding good deals, and so on. I frequent thrift stores, there's also a couple of used game stores that sell classic games that I go to, and also Amazon and Ebay. Sometimes you can find really good deals and games you've probably never even heard of. But a collection like mine took years to make, decades even, since I started collecting during the PS1 era.

Edit:

As for the PS2 Ar Tonelico and Atelier games, well, I didn't get into either series until the PS3, and I haven't gotten around to getting them yet.

You are better at beating them than I, I have about 30%-40% beat rate.

I see this picture and all of a sudden I'm disappointed in my PS4. When I think that it's been 10 years since the last Dark Cloud game I'm literally saddened. This is one heck of a lineup. It's too bad that shooters have become the focus of gaming. I sure do miss my action RPGs.

PC GAMING: BEST GAMES. WORST CONTROLS

A mouse & keyboard are made for sending email and typing internet badassery. Not for playing video games!!!

That's a nice collection!
PS1, PS2 and PSP are my favorite RPG consoles.

You got a few more PS2 and PSP RPGs than me and definitely dozens more on PS3 (which I don't like to collect for the reasons you mentioned).
In total, I got more than you, but that's because I also collect for non-Sony systems.

Also, when you said "the original King's Field", that's actually King's Field II, the first was only released in Japan.

I can, i have lots of (j)rpg since super nes. i could take some pictures, but oh boy...it would take so much work to gather them all.

Oh, and atelier iris 3 sucked. The 2 was godlike.

And i still have some games i lend to my brother/friend, such as breath of fire 4 and vandal hearts 2.
