Yes it did. But DKC sold pretty slow. And Pikmin might pass the million mark within this year. I'm expecting Splatoon to sell faster and more though. Just not as like the best selling games on the system. Mario Kart should roughly have a 45% attach rate right now and keeps on selling. That is a bit to big for Splatoon.

It has also been the #1 best selling Wii U item since Sunday on Amazon US.

Mario kart is over 50% attach rate actually.

I have a feeling Splatoon will have about a 25% attach rate. I see it selling big numbers.

really you are debating a know Nintendo technique for years ? they only ship a fraction of what the demand is. they push a fake demand bubble They did that for wii they did that for Amiibo . Don't get me wrong splatoon seem awesome. But don't jump in a hype train who has 50% the hit a wall :O .

I only know stock problems from Wii and Amiibo. Though most Amiibo you could get easily over here all the time. It only where some with stock issues.

Wii is another story. When Nintendo outsourced manufacturing they made themself dependant on Foxconn and so on. And Wii surpassed all expectations for some time.

Presumably so it can make a profit without having to rely on favorable currency exchange rates. Nintendo's doing better than in years prior, but it's hardly in a healthy position at the moment.
