To be honest guys, after that video, I'm thinking about dropping Splatoon for a good while.

It's clear that I'm pretty bad at the game, and I pretty much gave us all a bad name...

Buddy just focus on having fun, sometimes you just get a bad round every now and then, don't put too much thought about it

Also is not like we are the best gamers in the world or something so don't worry about it.

Dw! I had plenty of loosing streaks. But theres those days where you just wanna play to refresh your mind, then suddenly you do really well. Killing lots of opponents, getting that top score in your team or have a winning streak. 

 

I think its just about finding that 'groove' within each map, of each game mode with that specific weapon.

You seem to think that I actually care about one result or about the overall outcome as opposed to just playing with my friends. Unfortunately looking at how we're always paired with S and S+ teams only it takes a bit of that joy out of it.

Still managed 7-3 W/L yesterday though, which I'll take any day. Splatoon is a fickle game and you need only have one bit of bad luck (like we did there at the start when I was on the tower) and you can be screwed, particularly on a map like that one. We might not be the best technically but we're plucky and we work well together and that's the most important thing.

So, yeah. I'd rather lose and be happy knowing that I've had fun doing it with the people whom I care about in the limited time we have, rather than win for the sake of it after meticulous practice because I've nothing better to do.
