I still need to play that stage so will just wait and see how much I like/dislike this stage..


Actually is not that great for snipers because is REALLY BIG and is hard to land hits given how the small the targets look and the chargers don't have enough range to be the best weapons on the map. I just love the stage because is the one were I have the most fun.

 

BTW sign me up for the splatoon meeting, I hope we get to play on moray towers tomorrow.

Moray Towers is best towers. Holy shit, what a great map.

It's just so much fun to leap off the sides and splash into the ink and then scale the other team's side. 100/10 would play again (and already have)

I wouldn't say it's my favorite, but it's certainly high up there. Lot of fun to play it on turf wars and tower control, splat zones not so much but then again I couldn't have any fun with splat zones today at all, so maybe my view on it was skewed by that.

But man I got some bad teams today on tower control... I had a match where I got 20/8 (my best kill/death ratio yet), but everytime I died (always after killing 2-3 enemies), my team just didn't do shit. I don't know what was up with them. I would go back, kill someone, take the tower some way, maybe kill another 2 guys and then die... and then while I respawned I just had to wait and see the opposing team bring the tower all the way back. Somehow we ended up losing in overtime, because I died near the end of the game and it was enough for the other team to bring back the tower all the way from the center to the 30s-40s they needed. Ugh.

And afterwards I got a 25/8 on Blackbelly Skatepark where we only just won on time. In fact it was going to go into overtime, but it didn't because I managed to kill a couple of guys and hop on the tower. Like, my whole team had negative ratios afterwards, if I'm not mistaken there were two guys with 3/14. Unbelievable. But well we won at least I guess.

Edit: oh and these awesome kill/death ratios were brought to you by my newfound love, the .96 Gal.

Sound like a normal day of getting pair with bad teammates in ranked battled, and yeah the .96 Gal is an awesome weapon my main gun for ranked battles (well depending on the map because at short range the gun is not that good for me). BTW which rank are you in?

Also as an aside, will the Splatoon matches be going on tonight or will they now be cancelled on account of Ultra's absence?

Not sure if I'll be able to make it anyway, sadly.

As an addendum to Cone's post, yes, I will be absent for about a month.

I was going to host it myself, originally, but now that I'm sick, I probably won't be able to anymore unfortunately.

If we have a responsable user from NintenDomination to take up this roll, it can still going on!
