So apparently the rumor about NoA not publishing Devil's Third is true.. However, another publisher will be publishing this game. To me, this seems as if NoA still doesn't want to have a violent or mature view to keep the kid friendly company afloat

I'm placing bets that the localization is done by XSEED.

Also, I have a feeling the refusal by NoA has less to do with the game being mature and more to do with its general quality. They did the same thing for Fatal Frame 4 on the Wii (the difference being that game was released in Japan only).

It's the safest bet that XSEED is going to localize it, they did it for The Last Story and Pandora's Tower.

Or Nintendo could still be trying to pinch pennies; I wouldn't be surprised, the shareholders have been demanding proffits right now. 

IMO That new map in Splatoon is THE BEST MAP!!!!!! I just love jumping off the edge of the platform, and going up on those huge walls! I love the scenery as well!

Devil's Third is my definition of a childish game.

They have published mature games in the past like Eternal Darkness and Metroid Prime. I just wish Nintendo funded a mainstream and fun third party game for once. I honestly don't care about Devil's Third or Bayonetta 2. No game should ever be solely about combat.

Combat is essential to many games, as it should, but it should never be all there's to it.

I like Mario because of its platforming and creative level design, not because I like to stomp goombas.

I like Zelda for its puzzle solving and sense of adventure, not because I like to kill moblins.

I like Metroid for its exploration, atmosphere, isolation and sense of adventure/getting more powerful, not because I like to shoot at Metroids...

I like Splatoon because it's so fresh and unique, but it's admittely a lot of fun to splat people as well.

I like Shadow of the Colossus because of its minimalistic design and incorperating puzzle solving into boss fights. Not to mention the mysterious or ambigious story.

There's a reason why Okami is the only "Platinum Games" game I ever liked. I wish they tried something new, all their games have been just about combat. Bleh.

Absolutely the first time I saw the map I said I'll never play ranked battles on that map.
