hey guys... does anyone know why there are so many Nintendo games in teh USA charts this week?

i haven't see so many since Wii/Ds power houses week... am I wrong?

For me it will be Yellow! It looks so bright, and it really stands out.

Roller Coasters vs. Water Slides?! The next Americas Splatfest will be from 7/17 at 9:00 PM PT - 7/18 at 9:00 PM PT.

I swear I have some of the most poor headed people ever.
I was playing Tower control and we were 10 points away from a KO.
We lost it but no one was by it except one of my team members.
He lets it go back to the midpoint of the map for no reason.

Anyone else have problems with people who don't even understand what to do?

I know most of these things probably won't happen, but here are steps I think Nintendo should take in order for the Wii U to have a good holiday this year:

1. Drop the price to $250, whether it be temporary or permanent
2. Advertise highlight reels of Wii U games, not just the Mario ones
3. Reveal a Nintendo Direct showing a hopeful lineup of 2016 games
4. Bundles, bundles everywhere! (Ones that I think would do well are: Mario Kart 8 and Smash, Splatoon and Super Mario Maker, Xenoblade X and SMTxFE (Japan only) and then just a Xenoblade X bundle in the west).
5. Start Nintendo Selects for the Wii U with games like Pikmin 3, Lego City Undercover and Super Mario 3D World.

And...yeah. I think it would end up being a much better holiday than last year if they did even a few of these things.

Here is My Strategy
1. Start a Huge Ass Marketing campaign beginning in September(put it on prime time, kids shows, sports(like NFL,PL,MLB,etc.).
2. Advertise MM,SF,XCX,MTU,and Fatal Frame V(and Yoshi for NA)
3. Same for Japan just replace Yoshi with IR#FEand whatever TGS game announcements from 3rd Parties(MH4U I hope).
4. Bundles and Limited Edition Bundles Galore- XCX for EU/NA, MM/Splat WW, MK8,SPLAT, and SSB WW IR#FE JP, Star Fox NA

a. Now in terms of limited editions: MM: WW, XCX:West,Star Fox NA and EU

5.Price Drop to $200

6. Drop 2016 Game announcements(more spinoff titles, confirm NX as a handheld and they have plenty of more titles.)

7. Unleash more Amiibo

Nintendo should do way better with Wii U then last year if they go by my strategy(which will not happen at all).

I kind of doubt a price cut a this point, I think they said that if they drop the price again they start selling Wii U at a loss or something like that.

About the Direct I suppose that will happen in December or January, those are where we usually get some big surprise announcements.

ALSO, Mojang has commented on the possibility of Minecraft coming to Nintendo platforms:

Minecraft is already huge on mobile, PlayStation, Xbox and PC, but developer Mojang says there are more platforms to come.

And it dismissed concerns that being owned by Microsoft will hinder expansion to other consoles.

“If I had my way, we’d be on everything,” COO Vu Bui said. 

“We want to continue to be available to all players, and that means being on new platforms because everyone uses something different.” 

Could that include Nintendo machines?

“I’ve never heard a reason why we haven’t ended up on Wii U or 3DS. It just hasn’t happened yet.”

Honestly, if it came to the Wii U, I'd probably get it. I've been wanting to see what all the fuss is about, and I just don't feel like buying it on my PS3 lol.

The price cut is long overdue. I thought they should have done a temporary one last holiday.
