Lol yeah xD I was like WTF! Level 5 was quite hard

Hoops and the Shooting one was there. Only got to try 1 Hoops, while the shooting one quite a few. But both modes were good!

And Twintelle! She's not bad! I like her freezing punch and stunning bird arms!

Had to take on a Lv.6 Hedlok the first time where we got dunked on, though my team was always able to win afterwards, but we never went up against a Lv.6 or higher again so I feel unsatisfied. I need to get my revenge! D:<

I decided to stay in the same group the whole time for once and got 101 points using Twintelle only so that's pretty sweet! Also I was wrong about Hoops, knocking the opponent into the springboards doesn't launch them to the hoop unless you do so via rush attack, so there's definitely heavy emphasis on grabbing, but it was still fun!

Oh wow! Level 5 was my highest. Cant wait to try a harder one later today. And yeah. Hopefully I get more hoops later on. And Me and my brother didn't get kicked out in the lobby. So we got around 80 to 90 points.

Not sure if this was mentioned earlier, but ARMs is only 2.2GB in size

This is a broader question I have about Nintendo games in general. Mario Kart is an example of it, Breath of the Wild is an example of it – Arms is only 2.2 gigabytes big and it looks great. How does Nintendo make these games so small?

Yabuki: A lot of effort and technique goes into limiting the size of the games and we really think it improves the user experience by shortening the load times and making it quicker to get into a game. And we take into account the animations as well and make those fit into the smaller size to make it more enjoyable for the user’s experience.

Ishikawa: In development, we discuss all sorts of detailed elements, but we also talk about the first things that the players are gonna notice and we focus our resources there, so I’m really happy when people appreciate that and we create good art as a result.

[3DS] Winter Playtimes [Wii U]

I never fail to find myself in other people's videos! Should watch the whole thing, but the two matches I appear in start @2:16, where we won a 2v2 with full HP then wrecked Hedlok!

Dood how much Arms are you watching to keep finding yourself??

Also I'm not going to get to play any of this 2nd round of Testpunch  At least the release ain't far off.

I played ARMS for the second time today after skipping a bunch of sessions that I could have easily attended. This time I went with motion controls and the game is more fun to play despite having to adjust to pressing shoulder buttons with thumbs. Feels a lot like Wii boxing, only with more depth and higher accuracy.

My overall win percentage wasn't any better than the first time I played it, but I'd assume that session 9 has better players than session 1. I still rarely used blocking, but with motion controls it's not a hassle to pull off.

EDIT: Forgot to mention something else. My Switch got really noisy during the first few minutes I played. It never did that before, but it was certainly the fan of the console that generated the noise. Not sure why it never did this before, but did it today.

Pressing in the L stick to guard was awkward at first, and I still think it should be one of the shoulder buttons, but I've gotten familiar with it to the point where I now prefer it over motion's guard method. Just lot easier and quicker reacting to them fast moving punches.

Also yeah, at the beginning of the Test Punch no one was guarding lol. Though now that people are realizing grab spam isn't the way to go, it's starting to become more common. This one guy I fought guarded so frequently I nearly broke his shield!

As for your Switch's fan, I think that's normal, mine also get's louder during gameplay.

I had a ninjara ditto today were I perfected the other guy.... my strat was so good that I don't think I lost any 1v1s this round. I started late tho so I finished with 75, the other guy had 95. Beat him every time we fought, pretty badly too.

Got my revenge! Was jumping lobby to lobby trying to find one with players equal or better than me, and not only did I actually find such a lobby, the very last match I was paired up with them against a Lv.6 Hedlok, and we won!

Hey, I just noticed that Fatal Frame is "Free" on Wii U?!?!. I'm downloading it right now but I wonder if it's really free. Is it? Since when?

The first like 3 chapters are free, then you must pay $50 for the rest

Oh.. I see. I remeber now some talk about "free-to-play"...  =/
