That wasn't the original point. It was that I thought, and others had agreed, that DA:I was overrated, for the same reasons that The Witcher 3 was getting criticised. And that it had made me cautious on the high scores it was getting, and would wait for gamers in general to give their verdict. Don't see the problem with that


"The general consensus" makes it seem like the majority of people think that DA is overrated which is not the case. Plus, these reviews are all over the place unlike DA:I which almost all made note of the fetch quests. It's probably best to go with somebody who is similar to you in taste and listen to their opinion instead of waiting for the "gamers" because if the opinions of gamers is anything like the critics then everybody will find something to love that others maybe do not.

The Gamespot and the Destructoid video talk about the combat as being too easy or too simple.

Even the Telegraph review qualified the combat as "finicky" or "heavily metered with  caveats" but they gave the game a 10.

It's not the game's main strenght for sure but I'm sure anyone who buys this game won't do so for the combat elements.

I'm not saying it's not true one way or another, just that he should source quotes from published articles when he uses them to make a point.

92/93 on Meta, really good. I think its in the top 5, if not top 3 highest rated games of the generation (thats from this generation)

Why does it not? Come the end of the year, BB will probably be forgotten when it comes to handing out GOTY awards just like every other souls game before it.

I feel W3 deserves all it;s sales and recognition for it being a great Western RPG, the fact more gamers get to play it is a great thing and CRPR have proven they can make good RPG games before.

I'm sorry you feel that way but that's just like your opinion man, just because you say "this" with some other person doesn't make it an auto fact.

Bloodborne is brilliant. I played on my friend´s house and it was top notch gameplay with a very unique gothic-lovecraft atmosphere that I loved, the game wasn´t flawless but when the gameplay, the lore and the artstyle work together, you can´t ask for more. But for what I´m reading here... I´m not so sure about the witcher being something so special... anyway, next week I would be able to judge properly.
