Because unrless you know the future, you can't say "no way", "impossible", or so...

Nintendo needs to bundle this game everywhere and it can reach close to 10m.

You're right. I predict the Wii U will sell over 75 million units. Don't tell me it's impossible unless you used a time machine.

Indeed can happen.

Like no one thought the XB360 can sell over 50,000,000 ( 40m was usually the top of prediction lol), Wii U can sell even 75,000,000...

who has a wiiu and not mk8?

At the rate the Wii U is selling I just do see it happending.

Right now actual sales of the Wii U are probably around 9.2million units or so world wide.
I can see the Wii U selling as little as 15million units before its replaced by Nintendos next (NX) consol.

I just dont see MK haveing that high a attach rate.

I can see MK8 hitting around 7-8 million units, if it can reach/keep 50%+ attach rate until next gen starts.

DOUBLE POST

My prediction is 8m. It's a nice, round, appropriate number. Anything more would be a pleasant surprise.

I wouldn't be surprised. The legs of Mario Kart 8 are amazing. However, i'm predicting around 8.5 million sales.

Playing: F1 2016 (PC), Uncharted: The Lost Legacy (PS4)
Watching: Hajime no Ippo, Attack on Titan (4th time)
Upcoming purchases in October:
-TBD

That seems like too much. Although it has a pretty amazing attach rate, I'm not sure if it'll be able to keep said attach rate once WiiU sales eventually settle down at the 17m-20m range.

If more Wii Us sell then the attach rate should go down, not remain constant. So basing it solely off of that isn't really going to work.

I very much doubt it will happen. I think they only chance it has got is if the next console is backwards compatible (almost guaranteed) and it gets a kind of re-release/new marketing push for the new console to boost its sales.

Not sure honestly!

Last quarter, MK8 shipment was 340,000 , EQUAL to Wii U!!!

Seem that MK8 is selling the same of Wii U, and the AR is rise during last quarter:

52% AR ----> 53.5% AR
