Some of those games and stats you listed........tsk tsk PS4 userbase

Killzone especially.......damn. Not that Sony cares though with how they are doing.

Man you have changed your tune. All about the games now yeah? Less about the sales?

Isn't that how it should be?

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

Especially when your console of choice is being hammered approx 2:1 worldwide!

Not winning (but at least not last place for the majority of a generation) makes one realign their perspectives as a gamer. Sure last gen I felt superior as a human being simply because 360 had a higher lifetime #, but MS had become too complacent. Ill take 2nd place with MS doing good by us anyday.

Its far from exeptional, a Global study shown 36.7% of people finish there game so they are still over the line.

I generally dont finish games. Except maybe Mario Kart on 50cc.

xbox have more completation because there is less game and can play more before next game, i usually finish 30% of my game, i play to have fun, i don't care if i finish or not a game, all i care its having fun while playing (btw finished the order, bloodborn, last of us and not finished infamous & shadow of mordor)

Yeah, that's actually a pretty high finish rate.

Pretty much this, most games have around a 30% finish rate. 40% is double the average.

This is terrible news for Sony. They need to up the quality control. The game doesnt take that long to beat.

Get off your high horses ppl, the article is not about the quality of The Order nor about Sony games, its using a very short game wich would be super simple to complete as an example to show that ppl dont usualy finish theyre games. This is old news, any game you want to check will have low finish rate regardless of the quality of the game.

I find this quite sad even a game like the Order can't be completed without the possibility of someone getting bored of it.

Proud to be a Californian.

For me in the nes/snes era the norm was not finishing, and you would fell proud by finishing a game. But in this era for me not to finish a game I paid in full it would be impossible. the only games I leave unfinished is the ones that costed 2-10 bucks and I bought as "Just in case"

duduspace11 "Well, since we are estimating costs, Pokemon Red/Blue did cost Nintendo about $50m to make back in 1996"

Mr Puggsly: "Hehe, I said good profit. You said big profit. Frankly, not losing money is what I meant by good. Don't get hung up on semantics"

Azzanation: "PS5 wouldn't sold out at launch without scalpers."

The only games I dont finish are the ones I realise I just don't like. Really don't understand the notion of buying games never to finish them.
