Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Nintendo To Team With Universal Studios For Theme Park Attractions

I want them to build a roller-coaster that essentially had an Arwing on a claw-machine that we can 'sorta pilot' and shoot pop-up targets.

Thinking it will be anything other than Mario related is fanciful.

3D ride, through Mario World is inevitable. Exit throught the shop... Where you can buy high quality llicensed Mario and other soft toys.

All in all a cash win for Nintendo.

Nintendo is FINALLY loosening the reigns on its IP (mobile and this). Should have happened years ago.

I think Mario will be the main focus, but Zelda, Donkey Kong, maybe Pokemon, and Mario Kart at least will also be part of the "ride" attraction.

Of course there will be some interesting irony there with Universal and Nintendo at one time having a massive lawsuit over Donkey Kong/King Kong.

How about an elaborate simulator F-Zero attraction where the various "cars" race with random outcomes? And each feels a bit different due to the specs of the simulated machine. Could even be different intensities. Obviously, go with the original F-Zero main machines Blue Falcon, Gold Fox, Wild Goose, and Fire Stingray. Could even use the pseudo-hologram tech from Miku concerts to have the pilots appear "on stage" somewhere within the attraction building.  Imagine racing through Big Blue Ordeal or Mute City Serial Gaps from GX.  That would be intense.

Wanted them to do something like this for a long time now... But hoped they would go with Disney, one of those is actually within reach for me, the nearest Universal isn't even on my continent .

Now Universal can have a Castle to rival the Disney one! :L

Now they can make a cartoon "Donkey VS King. Which Kong to win?"

OMG THIS IS GONNA BE AWSOME ^_^

Nice to see them branching out! I wouldn't be too surprised if they maybe make their own amusement park down the line

I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!

Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.

Looks like they've already found something to make up for their terrible shipments lol

Remember that time Universal sued Nintendo over Donkey Kong? No hard feelings I guess.
