That's what I think as well.

NX Portable-300 gflop, 2gb RAM, 540p

NX Console-1.2 tflop, 8gb RAM, 1080p

Each could probably be sold for about $249.99 at a profit in 2017.

Can u imagine Amiibo on Wii/DS back in 2008/2009? They would have sold like crazy.

It won't just be the worst selling either, i think sometime from now it will be regarded as the eorst Nintendo home console overall.

Nah! WiiU does have some great games.... I much prefered it over the N64. Beside, if you include all the Nintendo back catalogue that was made available on the WiiU its a great console. It's simply not selling well.

which is funny because WII was the best selling Nintendo console of all times, what a downturn! Nintendo still has some of the best first party power houses, but the worst track record of third parties. I believe it is time for nintendo to take the second / third party road and instead of developing own console, they should release their franchises on multiple platforms; by which, they can make billions!

Seems like nintendo has some bad karma... Or the wheel of fortune has been swaying against them... But for any time on the bottom of the wheel, it is always sure to turn.

I say their situation is due to lack of innovation and progress and gameplay, and resting on their laurels. The universe is telling nintendo to move forward with new ips and gameplay ideas, but they are too busy focusing on what was succesful before.

late 2016 or early 2017 new consol release from Nintendo, they drop support for wii u.... wii u sales drop like a rock.

Releasing a new console too soon will just screw them over again. It will be underpowered again compared to next-gen consoles and thus it won't receive third party support.
