Sure. It was the game that sold many people on the motion controls though...

of course...i dontsee how either of us are wrong here really. It was the perfect marriage.  BUT it is interesting to see how poorly that franchise is now faring on WIi U, so either people got tired of motion controls or that game in particular

Well to be fair, Wii Sports Club is not a brand new entry, it's literally an HD remaster on a console that doesn't use motion controls as its primary control method so not really a good example to show that motion controls or Wii Sports isn't still desired.

Some of them had enough after that game and some are satisfied with still playing it.

that might be true but that doesnt really help Ninty in the long run

Really i was under the impression that the games in Club were completly different. Am I wrong? cause if it really was just a compilation of the older ones thrown together then yeah i guess its not a good example. Maybe the Kinect might be a better example

They will be fine. They might not nearly drown in money for a while, but they are smart and knows very well how to make money.

Nope, it's just an HD remaster with some extra features. I'm not sure Kinect is even a good example because the Xbox One Kinect bundle is $450, kinda outta the price range of the type of audience that is interested in such a thing.

I did NOT know that. THen yeah i guess that game deserves the sales it got then, jeez. You're right about Kinect, maybe we will never truly know since non of thse guys seem to care anyway. The only thing we can do is look at software sales for games that heavily used motion controls (deca sports, Carnival games)

V-virtual Boy?

Right now it is true but if Nintendo want to keep it for a few more years it could top GC sales.

I don't think it's safe to say that, depending on where you say it and who you say it to.

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

- George Orwell, ‘1984’

It  was safe to say that for almost over 2 years now, this is not anything new

Very safe thing to say. Its a shame though, its a quality console and there's a lot of fun to be had on it :(

While not an apples to apples comparison, it's the Dreamcast of it's generation. I fully exepct the same people who hate it now to be talking about it like it was the second coming 10 years from now. lol
