I use terms that refer to the opposite sex, not necessarily in a negative connotation but the phrases may or may not have heritage in stereotypical gender roles (can't think of them at the moment but I'm sure I use some unknowingly). Though I really don't mind them since I'm very anti-political correctness since the people associated in that group tend to be ill educated freaks who believe you can't even watch old Disney movies anymore because the princess wants a man...
I won't say "You must be on your period." to a woman nor would I say "Man up" to a guy, but if I say something that offends someone I'll generally stop using whatever it is that term is. But if I say something that offends someone and I don't feel what I said is inappropriate I won't apologize because it isn't my job to make sure I don't offend every idiot I come across.
