Most titles he's developed within the past 10 years have been garbage. Dawn of Sorrow, Portrait of Ruin, and Dracula X Chronicles were good, yet there's garbage like Order of Ecclesia, Curse of Darkness, Nano Breaker, Order of Shadows, Harmony of Despair, and Judgement. He's been the director of just as many bad games as good, and it wasn't like a mixture of good and bad. Once the garbage games started rolling out they kept coming with one or two in between the long lineup of trash. Why do you think we haven't seen anything from him from so long before his departure from Konami. Castlevania fans should be grateful Mercury Steam pitched the cancelled Lords of Shadow as a reboot to the series. Mercury Steam actually brought us some good games.

Everyone should await this announcement with extreme skepticism.

To be honest I agree with this, even though its just another one of your uncalled-for rants. Nobody cares about the Mercury Steam series dude, in the same way nobody cares about Dmc, or Lost Planet 3 ext.

IGA did his thing for the series, and unfortunately he could never top Symphony of the Night and take it to new heights. It was time for a new lead a long time ago.

If everyone was to give a simplistic answer of how they're interested in seeing what this overrated dev is releasing then there's no point in having a forum.  It's a place of discussion.  There's nothing uncalled about pointing out that IGA has released shit game after shit game since Order of Ecclesia when a thread is praising him for his successes.   It's pointing out he's not the dev people are praising him to be and he's got more crap out there than quality.

Oh noes.  Kupo isn't following the crowd.  That's totally uncalled for!

This is what you were shamelessly advertising, Eh?

Still, nice find. Wonder what will come of it? A fun testeaser regardless.

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

UPDATE: The Kickstarter is now live! Will be updating the thread shortly.

"Have you dabbled in the alchemical arts?"
"Your consistency is admirable. But do you even know what you’re doing?"
"You've switched sides! How interesting."
"From now on, I will call you Naberius the Nervous. You may call me sir."
"Why do you enter my castle, Naberius the Nervous? Is it simply fate that connects us?"

"The ritual is nearly complete."

"You seem to like that weapon a lot, Naberius the Nervous."

"For your consistent voting, you are now in the Bullwhip clan."

"Did you think this would be simple? There are no easy answers."

"Whip's narrow advantage today is nothing to boast about."

"You can't turn the tide alone."

"Speak with your actions."

"You are ready to choose the weapon. Will you be ready to wield it when the time comes?"

"Are you really prepared to do this to your friends?"

"We will enter the stream with nothing. We will leave it with the future."

"What do you do when you find yourself without a castle? You build another."

"They tell me it’s been far too long. Time... feels different, in my condition."

"It will not work. Perhaps the same could be said of all tactics."

"...for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword..."
"You've been mustered out of your clan for your perfidy. Traitor."
"Do we learn to control our powers, or do we learn to ignore them controlling us?"

Looks cool, retail disc and all... Might support it.

Indeed! The stretch goals look pretty great so far. The Kickstarter has already reached $100K so I am sure it will hit all of them soon.
