Forums - PC Discussion - [Confirmed] Valve has no oversight for its own platform

I think this is pretty much confirmation that there is simply no control over what goes on the platform and what not. Steam has become a garbage platform of self publishing indies with no oversight from the platform holders.

Valve's apathy for their own platform really is infuriating.

Yeah, the fact that that game got greenlighted really baffled me.

I mean I get that not everyone likes gays, transgenders, etc. but that game took it to a whole new level.

I just hope Valve can improve their system, and make sure that there's actual quality control.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

Yeah, Valve's lack of hierarchy is starting to hurt it.

Damn, that is one messed up game. It's not funny and doesn't look fun either.

True dat but I believe it got removed so that's something.

Their tactic is "leave it up to the community" and that is not always a good thing

Isn't that what MS tried to do for X1 and Indie devs raised a tihs storm?

Not defending the game(looks like trash) but if this was 10 or 15 years ago no one would care lol
