Forums - Microsoft Discussion - Microsoft Announces Continuum, Turning Windows 10 Phones Into Desktops

That actually sounds really cool and could see a lot of potential.

Around the Network

Wow, that sounds pretty interesting

PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850

The whole unified OS idea is so cool, I really hope they can make it work as advertised :).

Oooooh this looks really interesting.

Windows Phone 10 just got a whole lot more interesting.

Around the Network

That is actually very interesting. Connecting my phone to a monitor for PC tasks is something I would do. Too bad it wouldn't really work as a portable computer too as it wouldn't replace the portability and functionality of a laptop. I wouldn't want to lug around a monitor and I can't see myself doing PC tasks (editing, typing) on a small touchscreen. That's the qualm I have with the single platform idea; I can't see my laptop getting replaced. If they somehow figure out a way to make an single platform that can replace the laptop, I will praise the gods

I give you, the NX.

Neat.

Hopefully, this will play out nicely.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

M$ is redefining smart phones. This is the M$ that I once knew when Windows Mobile first came out. Go back to your roots, bitches. Stop trying to be like iPhone, then you will succeed.

Awesome!!

This reminds me of what Ubuntu was trying to do with their Edge.
