Forums - Microsoft Discussion - Android and iOS apps coming to windows 10.

That makes the decision to move to Windows Phone a lot easier.

Well I guess its a step in the right direction, still my Android currently does WP better than WP =P
Maybe once Windows 10 rolls around things will be different.

Makes my decision to go for WP even better :).

Looks like i'm getting a Windows Phone now!!

So no more reason to build apps specifically for WP, just do lazy ports and grab the massive install base of Android. A slap in the face for every dev who supported WP in the past, but whatever, it's nice for the user at least.

Only if they came out with some new phones that are worthy of buying. The last WP that was good was the Lumia 1020. Since M$ bought Nokia's mobile division, they just got boring. I know people that want new and updated models, but the new offerings are pathetic. So they either wait or switch to Android or iPhone.

The Display on that model sucks pretty hard. Everything else is fine imo, considering the low price. But Microsoft really hasn't anything that could compete with iPhone or High-End Androids. Don't get me wrong, the Lumias are not bad. But they aren't top notch either.

I remember similar efforts made in the past to ease porting of iOS apps to windows 8 and windows phone.

😇/😈 YES!

Will have to upgrade to a Windows 10 phone now.
