Hey everyone,

So with Final Fantasy X/X2 Remaster coming to PS4, who is actually going pick it up? I ask because they just released it not that long ago for PS3 and I understand that PS4 has a bunch of Xbox 360 users, but how much do they really plan on selling?

I think its a good idea, probably didnt really cost them any money and some will buy it, but I dont think that many people really need it at this point.

What do you guys think the sales will be?

So far: PS3 - 1.19m; Vita - 0.72m.

I think PS4 - 0.5m.

Meh, not that many. Like you said it released for PS3/Vita last year, and SE just released a FF HD remaster in March which may turn some people off this one. I'm guessing >500,000 LTD

It was probably a quick port job, so I doubt they're looking for sales numbers to be too high. I picked up the Limited Edition on PS3, enjoyed it so much that I now have X on PS2. I doubt I'll pick up the PS4 version anytime soon though.

ill be picking them up, simply because I haven't played them since the PS2 days. I mean, it won't be full price anyway but your looking at 100+ hours over the two titles so its good value for money if you like FF.

If only they had gone the whole hog and included FF12 in there as well!

I picked up the Limited Edition for PS3 as well, if they were offering US customers something better for the Limited Edition I may of got it again. I wanted that UK Steelbook so bad (sucker for steelbooks).

In the PS4 version, you can toggle between the classic and remastered soundtracks, so there is one reason for people to upgrade. For me, I haven't gotten FFX|X-2 HD, so I might as well get the PS4 version since it offers the most value.

As for how it'll do sales-wise, not sure. It'll also depend on how much it'll be advertised.

Honestly, if they didn't offer a free LE upgrade on amazon, I probably wouldn't have picked it up on impulse like I did. The art book alone sold me, though I do agree that I would've loved the Steelbook.

I'll probably pick it up when it's like 20 bucks or so, already bought the game before on PS3. 

Edit: I also think it'll only sell 150-250k
