They are just people that are looting and breaking stuff for any reason. The police should be alot rougher with people that act like that. It's not ok or cool to loot and break stuff for whatever reason. That's not "peaceful protesting".

haha, yea that is the issue here and not that the Police arrested a man for running when he spotted an officer (no warrent or anything, they took him down for running), possibly injured him severely during the arrest and then put him in a van with his hands cuffed behind his back and gave him a "rough ride" which severed his spinal cord killing the man

I'm glad you have the full story!  As far as I know, virtually no information had been released about what actually happened.  Of I had to guess, I'd say someone put their knee on his neck while they handcuffed him.

this isn't a first time thing, several people were paralyzed or died (from severed spinal cords) during rough rides/nickel rides in Baltimore over the last decades - verified in court

He shouldn't of ran then. If you did nothing wrong or have no warrants then just talk to police and be nice. It will work out. They're not gonna give someone a limo ride to jail especially if you run or resist arrest. Besides that, rioting invalidates their cause in my opinion. If someone wants to change things, become a politician or cop and do good for all people, not just one social group.

Black president.
Black mayor.
Majority black police force.
Democratic rule since the late 60s.

Held down by the white man! #Baltimore

No.  It's the "This can't be justified in any way, shape, or form" narrative.  This course of action has ruined that community forever and will accomplish absolutely nothing.

it takes a bigger and wiser man than me to calmly explain the injustice and frustration your kind of reasoning causes

I can only feel disgusted by the victim blaming, the justification of police playing judge jury and executioner and to then broadly deny the protesters any valid cause because a few individuals are abusing the situation to cause caos or being so fed up with the situation that their only outlet is violence, thankfully mostly against property - it's just absolutely incompatible with my core believes

High school kids wanting to "purge".
Gangs uniting to " kill white police officers ". Gangs. GANGS! The pillar of the community?
The death of a young man (with a history) that was probably unjustified but no information has been released yet.

I'm not saying roll over and take it but what the hell? " We want or rights!" "Were tired of being oppressed!". Meanwhile local businesses are destroyed. Lives are ruined. A senior citizen home is burned down. And for what? People have effectively destroyed their own community and many of these things won't ever come back.

Why don't we get upset when blacks kill blacks? I live near Savannah ga where a white kid got shot in the face surrendering a party for a black friend. A little girl was shot. Nobody looked twice. Why? Why don't lives matter unless it's black killed by a white or (even worse) a white cop? Suddenly, it's time to take a stand! And by " take a stand ", I mean "rob a wig store or loot and burn a liquor store". Birth down our own neighborhood to show that we aren't going to take it anymore!!

And then wait for the government we condemn to come in and restore order do that we can live peacefully, again. Where did we learn this? Is this what Black's fought and died and practiced CIVIL disobedience for? I got so many emotions right now that I can't even articulate them all right now. I gotta get up and handle business.

Prayers for Baltimore and it's misguided youth.
