I'm just going to let you click the link to read about it, but this will make the third spiderman series within the last 8 years.  Spiderman 3 with Toby Maguire released in 2007.  The Amazing Spiderman released in 2012, and The Amazing Spiderman 2 released in 2014.  Granted the Toby Maguire one started in 2002, but if this turns out to actually happen, this will be the third series in a very short time.

From the sounds of it, this is because Spiderman not being included in The Avengers due to Sony owning Spiderman.  This time Marvel and Sony will be working together to make spiderman so he will be included as an avenger from the get go.  

So what do you all think about this news?

They always get reboots, so I'm not surprised... though I'd expect them to finish off the Amazing Spiderman first

They should at least wait for 2019 or 2020. They need a cool down period longer than between th Spiderman Trilogy and the first reboot, considering this is the second time. This better be the last time, though.

Mo' Spiderman mo' problems!

I'm not incredibly keen on the idea. It would help if they skipped the whole origin story though. Two times is enough; I just want to see some swingin' and webbin' and stuff.

We all know the story ok Sony? Guy gets bit, uncle dies, great responsibility, blablabla, girl next door, awkward staring scenes, blablabla, some dude uses himself in a bad science experiment and becomes crazy, fight, kissing, the end.

Fast forward and jump right into some fresh material huh?

Original spidey was shit rami sucks, Amazing was teen drama BS.

Marvel will make sure the new spiderman is actualy proper. And sony best not screw it up.  They did enough a good job till now.
