That Apple domination continues. Well except for the Ipad.

How so?

However, a dark spot on the company's earnings release showed a larger-than-expected slowdown in iPad shipments. Apple said it shipped 12.6 million iPads during its most recent quarter, which Bloomberg pointed out was the company's fifth-straight quarter of falling iPad sales. The company's iPad shipment figure represented a 23 percent year-over-year decline--greater than the 17 percent decline that analysts had expected. |
I am curious if people hang onto iPads longer than iPhones. iPhone owners I know upgrade ever 2-3 years so many are on 3rd iPhone, but they still have 1 iPad and never upgraded.
I do agree I prefer Microsoft's strategy for my business use as that keyboard attachment and all makes it very useful.
How many iPhones sold?
Glad to see people are switching back to iPhone... there is no better option in the market.

Wow that's amazing, its the second highest for the sales of the iPhone in a quarter behind the previous quarterly result (Oct - Dec of 2014)
Apple is going to be a $1 trillion company
Proud to be a Californian.
Crazy. I wonder if any Nintendo representative will be present in the next quarter meeting.
Does Apple care about the iPad? I am serious here. Steve Job was confident about his vision for the iPad but Tim Cook doesn't seem to care. The A8x is an amazing processor but it's not given anything to do that separates it from the larger iPhones.
They have the money to invest harder in software development and to further differentiate their tablet line but Tim is choosing not to react to the falling sales. If the next iPad is just another iPad then it's definitely becoming an accessory Apple product.

So, in ONE quarter, Apple sold more Iphones than Nintendo have sold of the 3DS through its ENTIRE lifespan. I don´t like Apple products one bit but that is insanely impressive!
