Nah, XenobladeX has much much more to be worked on before localization. They were still using Japanese footage for the showcase. I think it'll be the Nov. title, with Star Fox in October, or vice versa.

I have a feeling they are more complete than we think. They have already had localization in progress for 5 months minnimum. Even with 1 month they could have shown english text but chose not to.

voted for August for the West release date. Hopefully they will announce the release date during E3.

Some people must be thinking that localizing a game is like pressing F5 after every translated word and you sudenly have an updated build. the treehouse used the japanese game , probably because they needed the full game with save files to make those demonstrations, not an alpha build with half the text translated. in essense: The treehouse using the japanese version says nothing about how far they are in localizing the game.

My guess is November with a high chance of slipping into 2016

"Games like this tend to come out 2-3 months after the Japan release"

Really? Jrpgs tend to come out 2-3 months after the Japanese release? News to me...

I meant games in this situation. It's on the Wii U, it is needed badly etc etc. However, you seem to disregard the fact localization has been in progress for 5 months minnimum.

But do you know at what level localization has been going on?  How many people? How many hours?  They could have done very little in those 5 months as they focused on the Japanese release of the game, but they could still say they had been working on it.  The fact they have been working on it for 5 months means very little without context of knowing to what extent and the amount of time it is supposed to take.  so that really doesn't mean anything to me...

That is very true. However, this is Monolith Soft / Nintendo we are talking about. They wouldn't say "Localization is going very well" unless it actually was.

there was leak involving Target a few weeks ago. they had the game listed for May 31. before dismissing it as a placeholder date, just think about it. it seems way too soon to be a placeholder and they would likely push it to a later date if it was. next, being a 300 hour game releasing right before June, people will have the summer to actually get somewhere in the game.

anyways i am more than hoping it gets released that soon

considering how focused they were te show this game worldwide since the first trailer, I think localization started much earlier than that.

Sadly that is confirmed false due to the fact Nintendo only releases their games on Fridays. Also, Splatoon releases May 29th. They would not put two huge titles that close together.

Where are the options for after September? Without Zelda, I'm thinking Christmas.
