They did not change that but there is a thing called "trophy hacking" where people alter saves some how and it works

Sad if you ask me. I do not know how much it happens today but a few years ago it was happening.

Ah ok, but by default it stops trophies working, well yeah im sure there is a possibility for getting banned if you use hacked save files. If they are even monitoring for it.

Yeah, if I ever got banned I would cry. That is one reason I am REALLY safe what I do online.

Pretty sure it does. I remember when I created my new profile and tried to use my old Uncharted save files. It made very clear that they weren't from my new profile and that I couldn't get trophies from them.

Well, the thread is if you get banned. Not if the trophoies will work or not.
