Some games are just really really boring to watch, whether its on youtube, a live stream or watching somebody else play it. while they may be boring to watch, when you actually have a controller in hand they are pretty fun to play and experience. 

i think one of those games is dont starve. watching somebody play this (specially if you havent played it before) can be pretty boring, i mean really boring. but once you know try it out... well its still boring, at first. but then it gets really really fun and awesome. so what other games are like this? 

Don't Starve is a good example. Another one for me would have to be Fire Emblem. Looking at it it doesn't seem all that engaging, but when you're playing the game you feel invested in the characters which makes it all the more exciting.

Tetris. When the pieces start to speed up, the game becomes a blast, but looking at it isn't nearly as exciting.

Civilization, or PC Mus if you don't know the rules.

I think I'm pretty alone with this one, but for me GTA V was very boring to watch. To be fair I didn't play a lot of it, but what I did was very fun....I just couln't stomach any stream of it without falling asleep.

The Order: 1886, when you are looking at the cut scenes it can be pretty boring but when you get to play it is fun.

Well my GF has to watch me play a lot, and she said for example, that Bloodborne looks boring as fuck.

Other games like CoD Advanced Warfare or The Order she enjoyed watching a bit.

ohh yeah, i can understand how that looks boring. i would think RPG's mostly can be very boring to watch. 

Personally, I only like watching my brother in-law play horror games. I quite love it actually. We spend hours some days. He says he can't play scary games like that on his own so I watch.

Every other genre though I find boring to just watch. I need to play.
