Nintendo Life has already played part of the game, here is their opinion. 

Also he points some things that we didn´t know:

- If you find 5 bundles of wool on a level you unlock a new funny design for Yoshi, and there´s one every level.
- The little jewels that replace the coins are used to buy badges that gives you special abilities for one level.
- Yoshi transformations are back, he turns into an umbrella, a mole, a bigger version of yoshi and a motorbike.
- The game is surprisingly difficult/challenging.

Looks promising for sure.

The guy seemed a little too over enthusiastic for the game, with a few too many hyperboles for me to take his words on the game seriously, but that's expected from fanboy sites such as NintendoLife.

From what I've seen, I like the look of the game, it's got gorgeous graphics style, but I'm still cautious about the gameplay since the last few Yoshi games didn't manage to improve over the masterful original.

$18 a piece so basically $54 for 3 lol

I'm impatient. I didn't feel like waiting till fall for a U.S. release of them

probably is going to be some arcade minigames in retro-style, it´s not confirmed but we saw some little footage on the first trailers.

A true hardcore Yoshi fan! I can´t blame you, those amiibo aren´t cheap but they are like the cutest thing ever.
