As the trailer was released today for Black Ops 3, fans of the series like me highly anticipated this wait. The trailer at the end stated the beta pre-order access was going to be on the platforms of: Xbox One, Playstation 4, and PC. No signs of X360 or PS3 have been surfaced. But oh, we forgot one didn't we? Yes, the Wii U version. Is it just something that will never exist, or is it actually happening? Well let's look at ALL the information we have.

Most notable information that unless you live under a rock you have heard, was that you can connect you Nintendo Network ID to the official website for Call of Duty. This is by far the biggest selling point to if it is coming to Wii U or not. There shouldn't be a reason for them to do it unless Black Ops 3 was going to be on Wii U, or they wouldn't have bothered adding it.

Another reason for it to be coming to Wii U is that Treyarch is very familiar with Wii U and developing on it. They even made the port for Ghosts to Wii U, so it would not be a huge budget for a simple port to Wii U.

Now, this is kind of a hazy thing to talk about. Right at the end of the trailer a little message pops up that I feel like nearly nobody is taking note of. These aren't the direct words it says, but basically it states that official platforms availability isn't finally determined. The reason this is a vague hint at a Wii U release is it could just be X360 or Ps3 sadly, or maybe even the Vita, who knows, right? 

My Guess:

As a Nintendo fan, I can say it angers me that Nintendo is so against hird party, and thinks they are still hot stuff, when I am here just wanting to play a third-party game and sooner or later Nintendo if this keeps up I will get a PS4, and that won't help you in any way. 

But either way, I feel like the game WILL  be coming to Wii U, but no DLC. Ghosts had no DLC. Black Ops 2 had no dlc. I feel like Wii U is just gonna be a hammered down version, but it will still exist.

I myself hope to see it on Wii U. With over 180 hours played on Black Ops 2 for Wii U, I really want to see uit happen. We can all pray right?

OUYA VERSION!!!!!!

There might be a very small chance, considering that Black Ops 2 is on Wii U, but considering that Advanced Warfare skipped Wii U, I think it's a sign that the CoD series is done with the Wii U.

If it does get it, I don't think it'll get the DLC.

Probably not, but who knows?

I'm not sure, but I think they added that "Link your NNID" thing to all Activision sites, regardless of whether the game was coming to that family of systems. Regardless, they've probably given up on COD Wii U ports. If anything, they might have made a special New 3DS version from the ground up, like they did with that one Vita BO2 game.

If the game is not coming to Nintendo then this makes just 0 sense:

i dont think there will be a wiiu version and would rather have no ps360 versions either alot of the games released for the 8th gen dont feel like or look like 8th gen games also HW sales for the ps4 and xb1 will benefit if theres no last gen versions

With all these rumors floating around, I wouldn't be surprised if it does get a Wii U port, though I'm still siding with no..

^thats an advanced warfare screenshot thus irrelevant. Since this will be current gen exclusive, I doubt it hits wii u. It may be current gen but honestly if they scale it down for the wii U, they would just port that version to the 360and ps3 and those would sell more.

Seems like it *could* get the game and if it does, it will likely be it's own version instead of a 360 port, so that's a bonus.
I will prob get it if it comes to the Wii U.
