It's like Konami and Capcom are competing for the "Most Killed IPs" Award.

SOMA is another horror game releasing this year to look forward to. It's the next game by Frictional Games, the developer of Amnesia: The Dark Descent. |
Oh thank you for reminding me! I do have something to look forward to still!
Kojima will most likely follow the footsteps of Hironobu Sakaguchi, or the creator of DMC, the creator of Megaman, The creator of RE and make their own studio or work with another studio and create games that are "inspired"(in other words the exact same game but with the different title) by their own creations. So Silent Hills might be dead but I wouldn't be surprised if Kojima releases a horror game in collaboration with Del Toro with Norman Reedus but with a different title or a game that's basically MGS but with a different title.
As he is a troll I would love it if he releases games with titles that are complete opposites or are worded differently. Loud Mountains lol. Like how Sakaguchi released "The Last Story" lol.

You want Sony Japan to get Norman Reedus? Anyway, this just sucks. Konami is already dead to me.
Bet with Xander XT:
I can beat more games on his 3DS than he can on my PSVita in a month. Loser has to buy the winner a game on his/her handheld Guess who won? http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=193531
Me!
This is like the year of bad news

Oh wow the Del Toro that was working on Silent Hill is the same famous movie director? I just thought it was another video game director that had the same last name like Miyazaki from Bloodborne. This realization makes this even more relevant and sad to me.
