Forums - Gaming Discussion - Treyarch studio: PS4 consoles spotted

when did people star caring so much about COD all of the sudden, when it was microsoft oriented, people slammed it but now that it might be PS oriented, people suddenly want to talk about COD again

im so confused D: lol

I think this is interesting from a business standpoint. For one thing, Microsoft had COD locked down for nearly a decade. For the company to lose marketing rights to arguably the most popular FPS possibly shows its weakening leverage at making deals with 3rd party publishers.

Looking at the PS4's non-holiday and holiday lineup, Sony appears to have a set strategy: release exclusives on non-holiday months while market big 3rd party games during the holidays. Sony probably learned its lesson from releasing LittleBigPlanet 3 last November. It was completely drowned out by the likes of AC: Unity, COD: AW, Far Cry 4, and GTA V. Had the company backed up the release date to Jan/Feb, the game would've sold better (and also, be less buggy).

Idk. I find it very hypocritical tbh. Hate it when its on MS,but suddenly praise it when it comes to PS

Again, no one is praising the game itself, all people are saying is that it will sell consoles. And the people who are praising could just be CoD fans, you know they do exist right?

Really? you dont say! who woulda thunk it!

Could be because this COD actually sounds and looks interesting.

It'as basically just AW without Kevin Spacey though lol

Not even close, from people who have played it it has nowhere near the verticality that AW had. Its sticking mostly to 2 stories and 3 lanes. If anything it looks a lot more like Titanfall without titans then AW.

PS4 is on the bottom left corner, you have to zoom in to see it.

There's a PS4 on every monitor. You can see the PS headphones and Dualshock 4s lined up.

Got the email to sign up for the Beta from Call of Duty's official email and it lists it being on Xbox One, PS4, and PC in that order. If I'm not mistaken don't the marketing rights have their name first on everything.

go to the site to sign up, ps4 is listed as the default option.

MS market deal never stoped COD being the most sold PS3 game each year but for GTA years.

If the one month deal for DLC is over it won´t prevent any one from buying the game in the platform they want.

Even Destiny showed that co-market and exclusive content has its limits.

People are not that stupid.

We aren't talking about that we are talking about the potentioal for a bundle which like destiny proves it can push systems.
