Just to put things in a more scientific way they should have made a few dozen of tests for each scenario.

Launch diferent games many times. Online and offline. With and without the disc.

Cold boot and rest boot with online and ofline. With and without instant on game.

Load diffente profiles from diferent users in diferent situations.

This video proves very little.

I'd say Drift0r is usually pretty good with testing things. I'm sure he ran this test multiple times.

Well, no surprises there. Windows has always been slow and will always be slow compared to properly setup Unix systems.
Doesn't the One even have a core that is for OS only? I wonder why it's so slow then when going to the dashboard, for example. Microsoft made it way worse by splitting everything into apps that have to be launched everytime instead of putting it into the OS itself, though. 360 sometimes is way faster for OS browsing although it surely takes more time to load the guide/dashboard sometimes due to having no core at hand.

owning both systems, id say this is fairly accurate. I had to save the song in the video too, liked it xD

it proves that PS4 is faster than XB1. which i agree it tells us very little since we already knew that.

Yeah well MSFT is a software company after all :))

Add me if u want :)

Xbox One was designed around TVTVTV Kinect motion and hand gesture user interface. Hence it's so slow but MS apparently are working on it. In my opinion the OS needs a complete control pad bias revamp.

PS4 seems to be alot faster at most of these tasks.

Wii U would win all those things lol.

Possibly not launching CoD:AW tho, that could take a while.
