Saw the advert on TV here in the UK but the question is.......its only coming out in 6 months.  Talk about trying to build the hype from a long long long long way out.  I think they had the release date of the 27/10/15 but please MSFT.....hold out for a month or two before release, not 6 months.  You dont even see christmas adverts coming out 6 months early, so MSFT....please pay attention.

Why wouldn't they? Halo is their biggest IP and system seller at the moment and they're giving it the treatment it deserves.

They're tryna use Halo to push the sales of xbox one hardware now. Halo can do that

They're trying to get the hype as high as they possibly can, and they should.

That's quite early, but it's nothing mind-blowing or unheard of for such a big title. Particularly in the UK I'd imagine that MS would be keen to bring back some of the marketshare ASAP, and advertising Halo frequently and early is a good way to do this.

Expected given their lack of anything exclusive to advertise, there are some with Tomb Raider as well. Incredible the length of the exclusive gap MS have allowed to happen.

There will be a barrage of Halo ads close to launch.

They shouldn't do that. That way they just decrease the sales boost in the holidays.

Theres a reason no-one spends big money advertising their products on tv 6 months before launch.... its a bad marketing strategy, and theres far better alternatives at this stage.
