I am now a huge fan of Halo. Halo 4 sealed the deal. Halo 2 remastered was amazing, but Halo 4 was just the final nail in the coffin. I preordered Halo 5 with when I picked up MKX today. Good lord the game was amazing and the multiplayer is much more fun that I thought at first. A much better direction than the original trilogy. 343 is amazing.

I want to try this series so bad. If MS put the other Halo games and ports the four GeoW games I will have to buy the Xbone at one point. Though I'd love it if MS decided to port all these games to PC instead, as I don't plan to pay for Live either way, so I wouldn't be able to experience the online modes.

Wii U is a GCN 2 - I called it months before the release!

I had the same feelings just recently. Having only ever played the first one, which I will controversially say is a surprisingly poor game, the series never did much for me or my mate. But we sat down, pushed through the firSt game, and then proceeded to demolish the rest of the series over a few days.
Halo 2s skull system annoyed us though, legendary is just too much for us currently lol
