The Last of Us.

KZ:SF multiplayer would take the cake but it barely runs 60fps, hovers around 45-55. Still smoother than any other 60fps game though.

Dragon Quest Heroes, it doesn't have pop ins like MGS(my god those were horrible) and it looks sharper than the rest. And better art style then the rest too.

Wolfenstein? You gotta be joking. Its a poor port.

Really? Digital Foundry gave it the nod over the Xbox One version for superiors shadows and image quality.

Really? The game looked like crap in PS4. I cant imagine how bad it looked in Xbox One. If we take away some "good effects" from the game then it can be called as killzone 3 like graphics. For me the game was everage and graphics didnt look good.

You are right here, but man, games like plants vs zombies run at 60fps even in my smartphone XD

Minecraft runs at 60 even on a microwave screen.

Minecraft runs at 60 even on a microwave screen.

Minecraft is CPU bound on PC, so it runs pretty poorly on low end pc's and laptops, Minecraft draw distance on ps3/360 was greatly reduced and effects/lighting too, in order to hit 60fps, both xbo and ps4 versions are full 1080p 60fps with extended draw distance, effects and engine additions.

As for Plants vs zombies, on console it is completely different to the mobile games.

Apparently you can't tell the difference between this:

I still don't get why Minecraft is so demanding. What I played (on PC) was essentially a bunch of cubes with PS1 textures.

I'm gonna go on a limb and assume it's because you can blow up and shape any of those cubes as opposed to just lanscape that you cant interact with. It's a shapable world and that probably takes a toll on processing.

I'm not a connoisseur so I'm just assuming...

Mainly because they used java for the core, thats why the console ports perform well, because overall the game is pretty basic but for PC it is cpu bound with virtually no gpu acceleration, if they re-made it in c/c++ with actual gpu hardware acceleration it would run 60fps on pretty much every half decent pc.

Scroll down to the benchmarkings, the higher framerates all being linked to high clockspeed cpus is extremely telling.
