If you asked me a few months ago what some of my hype games of 2015 would be, I am sure I would mention Splatoon. Actually, If you asked me a few days ago, I would probably still say splatoon.

It got me thinking, if this is what IS revealed negatively about the game, just imagine what is still undiscovered. I honestly think this game is gonna suck. And LITERALLY just a few weeks ago I posted about the hype for it and it would sell over 1 million by the end of the summer. I was confident in this game. But my goodness... It is a decade behind time for crying out loud. EVERY SHOOTER EVER should have private matches, and YOU SHOULD be able to customize it.

No mics? Whatever? But this, is just saddening to hear. No features, small game size, and still 60 dollars? Yea, okay Nintendo, try again next time.

As a harcore nintendo fanboy, even I am more hyped for almost all other third party games coming out than this. Splatoon? No thanks, I'll stick to Black Ops 3 thank you.

Such a shame that Splatoon had so much potential, but used none of it. I won't be surprised if the courses revealed are the only courses there will be. What. A. Joke.

Supposedly only custom private matches won't be allowed by regular private matches will be allowed but I don't think that is confirmed yet... (the regular private match that is)

This game really does have potential, specially in the esports area and I really don't care for Voice Chat but by the love of god, if Nintendo doesn't allow private lobbies in this game, it will be one of the biggest fails in 2015 imo cause a game like this really has a good potential to go big in the esports area and without private matches of any kind, that will not happen

With the lack of voice chat and custom private lobbies, I'm seriously questioning the longevity of Splatoon.

It's a shame, cause the game looks extremely fun, and looks like it would be a perfect fit for a competitive scene.

I totally agree. And, at the same time it saddens me that I won't be picking this up. But I feel the developer is making a good game but he is basically chipping away so much of what the game should be. It's becoming more and more of just dissapoining to absolutely face-palming.

Maybe try wording the title better and say why you dont think it will be good instead of making the title "Honestly Splatoon is going to suck" lol  

theres still hope.. i just hope it wont come in a dlc pack etc. BS
