Forums - Microsoft Discussion - Conker's Big Reunion Releases Today. Excited or mad?

Welcome to The Realm of Video Games

The reveal of Conker in Project Spark has been a bit mixed with the long time fans of the franchise a bit upset this is DLC rather than a full installment for the long awaited squirell.  Today the mixed bag of Conker's Bug Reuinion has finally launched on Project Spark and promises to stay true to the franchise.  Some of us are hoping with enough support it will show Microsoft that a sequel to Conker's Bad Fur Day is needed.  Are you going to pick it up Conker's Big Reuinion in the mean time?  How are you liking?

Hope this leads to a full Conker game, support it guys!

Proud to be a Californian.

I played the game and it's really nice. I kinda missed a well done 3D platformer game.

A full conker game is all but inevitable.

I've never played a Conker title, so I don't know. Should I be excited?

Is this part of Project Spark and I can play the game for free?

Or is just DLC that lets me make Project Spark Games?

I did play Banjo Kazia and enjoyed and saw much future potential in that. From someone that played on Pong, it was amazing to control the little guys in a 3D world. It looks like nothing compared to Skyrim or The Witcher 3, but was an amazing breakthrough in it's day. (And not just that game, any 3D of that gen.)

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.

Top 50 'most fun' game list coming soon!

Tell me a funny joke!

If you still have an Xbox 360 (and why wouldn't you? You're a cool guy, right?) then get your hands on Conker for Xbox. It still looks fantastic and the gameplay is great...well, not the bat swinging mechanic or the fact that he gets hurt falling from distances that YOU could easily survive.  You'll probably like it, though.  Or watch it on Youtube.

I do have a 360 and still use it, but not really allowed to get any more games for it.  I have a few I haven't even started, and some I'm still playing.  But I'm really spoiled by next gen - nearly instantly switching between all my games, TV and Amazon/Netflix/ aps.

I'll check it out on Youtube or Twitch.  It does seem to have a very loyal and excieted fanbase.

PS Note to stelf, play Bastion on your 360 when you get a chance!

That trailer is still kind of boring for me.

I love the creations trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SKHIsuZSEJ4

It makes me want to buy it.

Frankly, I don't understand the appeal of the Conker games. I played the original on N64 and even the Xbox remake. They're slow, clunky platformers. Its hard to believe Sonic Adventure is actually older than the N64 version of Conker, that was more my cup of tea.

Regardless, I'll try the Project Spark version of Conker. I can't imagine its worse than the previous games.
