-No space battles

-No campaign mode

-only 8 different planets at launch (or was it 4?)

-no geonosis maps (my favorite from battlefront 2)

-no kashyk

It looks like their main focus in endor which is arguably the worse planet in star wars history/rant. I was excited for battlefront 3 until I learned all this. Does anyone else feel the same way??

edit: at least there are positive things to the game such as third person, much improved graphics, focus on multiplayer, focus on current gen, great level of customization, and free dlc. I will still get the game but maybe not at full price!

I'm really excited for it, Space Battles in BF2 were garbage imo, the original games didn't have a "campaign mode", don't like the prequel trilogy much so don't care that the contents not there either. There are only 4 planets at launch, there will most likely be multiple maps based on each planet, another is added in a free dlc in december I believe.

It has splitscreen, it has singleplayer/cooperative missions, it has a third person option. It seems faithful to the original game. I'm excited. 

The only big negative I have towards it is the likely absence of  a galactic conquest mode.

Yeah, it does sound like a step back from battlefront 1 let alone 2 and elite squadron.

Hopefully the gameplay will save it and they'll add back in features and modes for the sequel.

Will it be fun to play? None of those seem relevant to that most important fact

Nah Im pretty excited for the game.

Sony can have it it will flop really bad because it Hasn't got story mode

It can do 4 million before the new year across all systems I think

My hype for the game also has dropped quite a bit from all the outflow of the new details of the game. I'll probably get the game at some point, but definitely not at launch for full price.  Just can't see myself paying $60 for an almost exclusively mp game.
