Fun movie. A bit too much action but that is to be expected. 3D was not bad either but i won't know for sure as i generally avoid 3D showings.

While Ultron himself never felt unstoppable, his final plan actually had me curious how the Avengers would stop it without massive casualties.  The challenge is making the threat real while showing off how awesome the heroes are.  Hence Loki and Ultron had armies that the heroes can beat up.

With regards to the climactic battle, Avengers and AoU shared an uncomfortable amount in common.

Granted, it's pretty much a given this is how both films would resolve, and furthermore, it's an easy argument that this is what audiences really wanted to see as their reward for the two hour build up to the climactic battle, but it does bring up the question as to whether any of these team films of Ultimate Heroes can end without them having to battle an army against overwhelming numerical odds.

If the MCU writers follow the blueprint of the Infinity Gauntlet, we should be seeing the exact opposite in Infinity War; Thanos individually defeating all the MCU heroes with relative ease wielding the power of the Infinity Gauntlet.

I don't see them following the bluepring of Infinity Gauntlet...  The Avengers were bit players in Infinity Gauntlet, and they haven't introduced enough of the cosmic universe for it to make sense.  Considering how much Age of Ultron differed from the comics (like completely) I don't expect the Gauntlet to be too faithful.

Much to the reason I think the next cap film will be completely different to the name it's based on. There are all of 10 superpowered heroes, hardly enough for a war.

Hmm, pie.

Yeah, I'm surprised with how many people still expect the movies to stay faithful to the comics, when aside from some of the originas like Iron Man and Captain America and some personality traits/motivations the movies do their own thing.

Well considering that Civil War wasn't all that great, I'd be happy for it to be different.

Infinity Gauntlet on the other hand would be awesome to see faithfully redone, but it's just not practical.  Would love for them to do an animated version or something.

It sucked. It went on forever and had too many subplots. Neither of the twins were very well developed. Ultron isn't as entertaining as Loki. The CGI was shockingly bad for a big budget movie. Felt like I was watching a video game cutscene half the time.

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

How would they do a civil war when pretty much everybody's secret identity is common knowledge?

One question: is the Hulk/Black Widow romance as stupid in the movie as it looks in the trailers?

Yeah, pretty much. Not sure where that really came from honestly, maybe just to give them something more to do.

Yeah, it definitely came out of nowhere, seemed tacked in, and really had no chemistry.  In comparison, Black Widow flirting with Captain America in Winter Soldier felt more natural even though not serious.

The divide will likely be over super powered being registration, similar to the Mutant Registration Act of X-Men.

Maybe, due to lack of numbers and identities it would be more about accountability. Who's who is pointless when there are only 12 of them and out of them, 6 are known many working for the government, 1 isn't real and is not more than advanced AI and one is a god unlikely to register on any human law.

Infact the entire premise may change, like mentioned before, this film is hardly Wolverine going back in time and breaking the space time continuum.
