Shovel Knight Burrows its Way onto Xbox One Next Week

Shovel Knight will be coming to Xbox One next week, following the game's launch for PlayStation platforms this week. Major Nelson made the announcement via Twitter, confirming when the sice-scroller will be hitting Microsoft's new-gen console.

In Shovel Knight, you play as the hapless armoured one, armed with only the eponymous digging implement and a quest to fulfil. He must defeat the evil Enchantress for his lost beloved, slaying any villainous knights from The Order of No Quarter in his path.

Shovel Knight will be digging its way onto Xbox One next week, which presumably means a release date of 28th April. A price and further details have yet to be revealed, but the game will feature Battletoads characters on Xbox One.
