Forums - Gaming Discussion - Longest total time PLAYED in one game?

Halo 2.

I'd estimate at least 1,000 to 2,000 hours.

There are too many games to play and experiences to be had for me to focus on one game for very long. Morrowind is easily the winner here, but I have no way of knowing just how many weeks I put into it. May you all walk on warm sands...

You guys easily beat anything I've played a lot. I think Black Ops I or II would probably be the games I've put the most hours in. Probably 1k hours in each.

i'll join the wow group with +800 days which also included playing dota while afking

Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

Have not played that version since a years ago.

What did you do while playing? Does the game even have enough content for that?

Im curious as to how addicted or in love some people can get to a single game.

The game I have played the longest is the Original EverQuest.

I have played the game for the past 16 years (with a few breaks here and there) and in that time on just ONE CHARACTER...I have actually PLAYED over a years worth of time!

375 Days, 7 Hours, 16 minutes on my Main Character alone to be exact.

It's slightly shocking that one game has held such high appeal to me for so long after such heavy game time.

that it? over 16 years you should have played more,. dirty casual.

i played WoW for ~5 years and clocked almost 2 years of playtime.   8 years sober.

Lol Thats on my MC alone.  I have about 12 characters that have gotten high play time themselves and I was a GM in the game for about 5 years.

...uhh...ill just put my favorite quote of all time here.

"Welcome to Pain, the second of three...You have dealt the first...now deal with me!!"

ah, makes more sense.  my almost 2 years is split between my main and my main alt.  priest and mage.   i had some time on other alts as well but nothing too significant,.. just a few weeks to a month each.

Even with more than one playthrough, that seems too much.
