Any difference from the previous models ?

Probably more good stuff ripped out to increase profitability.

It would be ok if Sony at least gave Vita a huge price cut.

I have to admit: I love the PS Vita as a piece of hardware even though I hardly ever play it due to a lack of games. My New 3DS is my handheld console of choice but I just have a thing for the Vita. I hope this is an actual improvement over the current model and not a downgrade to save costs.

When is the last time you fired it up and checked out the psn store? Shortage of games isn't really an issue on the Vita now, it's more a shortage of awareness that the games are there by people who might enjoy them sadly.

If you want vita games at a huge price cut you should check out the playstation TV system, was recently dropped to £50 in the UK and in smiths here in Ireland they're selling for €55

If it has an SD card slot, I'll replace my original model with this. Of course, assuming the rumour is true.

Would be great if they added 4G support.

I would re-buy if it had R2 and L2, but it doesn't.

I'm interested.  What kept from getting one was the fact that it can't play all Vita games.

I'm thinking about buying my wife a Vita for her birthday... I hope they announce it soon, if there is anything to announce...

Need something off Play-Asia? http://www.play-asia.com/

PS Vita is saved!!

Yeah indeed, anything that needs either touch screen or cameras doesn't work for it, cutting out some of the best vita stuff like LBP and Tearaway, what do you expect for 50euros tho!

edit - there is a portion of the store of the games it will play tho https://store.playstation.com/#!/en-us/ps-vita-games-%28for-ps-tv%29/cid=STORE-MSF77008-PSTVVITAGAMES?smcid=pdc:us-en:pdc-explore-playstationtv:buttonrow-see-a-list-of-all-compatible-games:null:STORE-MSF77008-PSTVCOMPATIBLE if you would be interested in checking it out.

(remember it doesn't come with a controller either, so you need a ps3/4 pad if you've not already got one)
